The Best Kept Secret is ont!, Continuing in the traditon of celebrated soulful family sound is Druscilla abernathy & The BKS Vine. The project tastefully weaves classic R & B, Jazz, 70'2 and 80's classics, Gospel and funk with the contemporary flavor of new soul, pop, latin and original compositons. The A-List musicians each accomplished and celebrated in his or her own right create true musical indulgence. These artists were involved in our previous project BEST KEPT SECRET. We had to sit this project down for a while to take care of our mother. We all split up for a little while and began to perform and fatten up other projects such Synergy, The R factor, Soul Tight Committee, High & Mighty, TC Jammers! Ma ma resting in peace and so happy to see us back at it! The BKS VINE has played such world famous DAKOTA and BUNKER'S, House band for Minnesota Music Cafe, The Cue at The Guthrie Theater, Rossi's Blue Star, The Artist Quarter and more. A few of our clients are THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS, THE AMERICAN RED CROSS, THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION, THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION, THE LUPUS FOUNDATION, DAYTON/HUDSON, THE MINNESOTA STATE FAIR, THE TASTE OF MINNESOTA, THE MINNEAPOLIS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE! We are back together and happy as can be! Now we present to any client the best in live entertainment. YES we play what we call "THE BOOK"!
